Project Description I am preparing a research manuscript on an AI-based Model Predictive Control (MPC) framework for indoor temperature and humidity control in a mechanically ventilated pig house. The controller has already been developed and validated using real operational sensor data. I am looking for an experienced CFD engineer to perform airflow and thermal simulations that will serve as an additional physical validation of the proposed control strategy. The objective is not to develop the AI controller. Instead, the CFD model will be used to evaluate whether the ventilation settings generated by the controller produce realistic airflow patterns, temperature distribution, and ventilation performance. Scope of Work The freelancer will: Develop a 3D CFD model of a mechanically ventilated pig house Model ventilation fans, air inlets, and exhaust outlets Simulate airflow, temperature, and humidity distribution Apply several operating conditions corresponding to controller outputs Generate velocity contours Generate temperature contours Generate humidity contours (if feasible) Identify airflow dead zones and recirculation regions Compare CFD predictions with available experimental measurements Prepare publication-quality figures suitable for an SCI journal Input Data Provided I will provide: Pig house dimensions Building drawings (CAD if available) Fan specifications Ventilation operating conditions Sensor locations Experimental temperature and humidity measurements Boundary conditions Controller outputs for selected cases
