I have a model of a boat, I need viscous damping and reistance. • Bare-hull resistance runs at my target speed range • Forced roll decay simulations to extract viscous roll damping • Captive maneuvering runs — hold the hull at fixed drift angles and yaw rates, measure resulting forces/moments, to build my Y_v, Y_r, N_v, N_r maneuvering derivatives
