Someone who picks up the phone ready to put deals on the board and doesn't flinch when a business owner pushes back. If you talk a big game but your close rate is garbage, keep scrolling. The gig: We mail a large postcard featuring 8 non-competing local businesses to 2,500 households in a targeted neighborhood. You call local businesses in a specific city and sell them a spot on the card. That's it. Simple product, real value, easy yes when pitched right. What you'll do: Work a provided call list of local businesses Run a proven script — and close Send a PayPal invoice the moment they say yes (we set that up for you) Hand off the warm ones to me when it helps — I'm local and can call or meet in person to drag the bigger fish across the line What we provide: Targeted, vetted call list A script that works PayPal invoicing ready to fire Me as backup for closes that need a local touch Pay structure: Starting at 2 hours per day Hourly rate (tell me your ask) 5% commission on every close, on top of hourly Hours and pay go UP as deals come in. Close consistently and this turns into real money fast. Don't close and it stays at 2 hours. You're a fit if you: Have a track record of actually closing on the phone (not just smiling and dialing) Can handle objections like it's a sport Sound human, not scripted Have a clean phone setup and quiet environment Show up every day Don't apply if: You need hand-holding You hate the phone You can't show me numbers from past sales work "Closer" is just on your resume and not in your blood To apply, send: A 30–60 second voice or video clip of you running a mock pitch for a local business postcard ad Your hourly rate Past close rates / commission numbers / sales results — receipts, not adjectives Looking to start this week. Prove you can close and we scale this up fast. Screening Questions: How many years of B2B cold calling / phone sales experience do you have, and what products or services were you selling? Be specific. What's the highest-value deal you've personally closed over the phone, and walk me through how you closed it in 3–4 sentences. What's your average close rate on a cold list? (If you don't know your numbers, that tells me what I need to know.) A business owner says: "I tried direct mail before and it didn't work — not interested." What do you say next? Give me your actual rebuttal, word for word. Are you comfortable starting at 2 hours/day with hours and pay scaling up as you close deals? Yes/No — and tell me why that structure works (or doesn't) for you. Confirm you have a quiet workspace, a reliable headset, and a stable internet connection for daily calls.
