COO / Chief of Staff / Senior Executive Assistant — Fast-Growing Performance Marketing Company

Posted 3 weeks ago

Summary

The Opportunity This is not a traditional EA role. This is a path to running a company. You will start by owning our compliance and risk operations — building the systems, managing the vendors, and creating the documentation infrastructure that protects the business. Once that division runs itself, you move to the next one. The goal is for you to master every division of the business within 6 months and grow into a Chief of Staff role. If you are someone who wants to learn how a fast-moving performance marketing company operates from the inside, prove yourself in one division at a time, and eventually have a seat at the table — this is that opportunity. We process thousands of inbound calls daily across the home services industry. We are fast, data-driven, and AI-forward. The person who succeeds here will not just execute tasks — they will think like an owner. Where You Start — Compliance & Risk Operations Build and maintain vendor contracts, onboarding checklists, and a risk register Conduct regular spot-checks on vendor activity and flag anomalies before they become problems Own all regulatory and legal correspondence — log, track, draft, and escalate when needed Maintain a centralized contract repository with tracked renewal dates Deliver monthly risk summaries to leadership Draft and maintain internal compliance documentation and policies Who Thrives Here The single most important trait for this role is attention to detail. Every document, every email, and every filing is treated as if it could be reviewed by an attorney. If that is not how you naturally operate, this role is not for you. Beyond that, the people who do well here: Identify what needs to be done without being told Confirm scope before starting and report back upon completion without being asked Over-communicate by default — updates, early flags, and follow-ups without prompting Triple-check their own work before submitting anything Ask clarifying questions upfront, not halfway through a task Follow up on open items without being reminded Build structure in environments where none exists yet This role is not for you if: You need detailed instructions to get started You go quiet when blocked You treat communication as optional You submit work without reviewing it yourself first Experience & Background Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Coordinator, Chief of Staff, or similar role supporting senior leadership directly Experience managing contracts, vendor relationships, or compliance documentation a strong plus Highly organized with a real, specific system for tracking multiple workstreams Excellent written communication — clear, concise, and professional Experience in performance marketing, lead generation, or digital media a plus but not required Role Details Type: Contract, starting part-time with a clear path to full-time Location: Fully remote Hours: Flexible, but responsive during US business hours Compensation: Competitive, based on experience — with growth tied directly to performance How to Apply Send a message that includes all of the following. Applications missing any item will not be reviewed: Which of the experience and background qualifications above apply to you and how — be specific Your exact system for tracking open tasks and deadlines — name the tools and describe how you use them A specific time you caught a mistake or gap nobody asked you to find — what was it, what did you do, what happened Your step-by-step process when you receive a task with unclear instructions Include your favorite color somewhere in your message.
