CRO Specialist (Conversion Rate Optimization – Shopify Ecommerce)

Summary

We are a US-based ecommerce business in the marine solar and off-grid power space looking for a skilled CRO Specialist to help improve website conversion performance, customer journey flow, and overall ecommerce effectiveness. Our products are more technical and higher-ticket than typical ecommerce products, so we are looking for someone who understands how to optimize user experience and conversion flow for customers who require more education and consideration before purchasing. Our store is built on Shopify. What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience with ecommerce CRO, preferably on Shopify stores * Strong understanding of user behavior analysis and conversion optimization * Experience with A/B testing, funnel optimization, and UX improvements * Ability to identify friction points and provide data-driven recommendations * Familiarity with tools such as Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, GA4, VWO, or similar * Strong analytical and communication skills Responsibilities: * Analyze user behavior and identify conversion bottlenecks * Recommend and help implement improvements to product pages, landing pages, navigation, and checkout flow * Develop testing ideas and optimization strategies * Improve conversion rate, engagement, and user experience * Collaborate on messaging, trust-building, and funnel improvements * Provide clear reporting and actionable recommendations Ideal Experience: * Shopify ecommerce CRO * Higher-ticket or technical product experience * Experience improving conversion rates through structured testing and analysis * Understanding of ecommerce customer psychology and purchase behavior To Apply Please include: * Examples of Shopify or ecommerce CRO projects you’ve worked on * A measurable conversion improvement you helped achieve * The tools and process you typically use for CRO analysis/testing * How you usually approach diagnosing underperforming product or landing pages We are looking for someone proactive, data-driven, and focused on measurable improvements rather than generic design changes.
