Algorithm Developer – Automatic Cadastral Map Vectorization (GIS / Computer Vision / AI) We are looking for an experienced Algorithm Developer to build an automated pipeline for vectorizing scanned cadastral maps (PDFs/images) into GIS-ready vector data. The objective is not manual digitization, but the development of a robust algorithm capable of extracting parcel boundaries and converting them into clean vector geometries with minimal human intervention. Responsibilities Develop an automated cadastral map vectorization pipeline. Detect and extract parcel boundaries from scanned PDF/raster maps. Convert raster boundaries into topologically correct vector polygons. Handle line intersections, junctions, gaps, and noisy scans. Implement geometry refinement, snapping, and topology correction. Export results to GIS formats (Shapefile, GeoPackage, GeoJSON, DXF).
