Canadian Citizenship Application Review
Worldwide
I have a fully completed proof of citizenship application (CIT 0001) and these are meant to be small or lower-stake task to have you review. I am looking for someone who has experience reviewing Canadian proof of citizenship applications and reviewing my completed application before I submit it. I will send you the full file if you are hired for the job. Seeking an expert in RCIC or immigration law to review a Canadian Proof of Citizenship application. The application is for citizenship by descent post-Bill C-3, involving multi-generational aspects. The task requires a thorough review and feedback to ensure all necessary documents are included and the application is complete. Attention to detail and knowledge of Canadian immigration law are essential. I'm seeking an experienced, regulated Canadian immigration professional — a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC, member in good standing of the CICC) or a Canadian immigration lawyer — to review a complete, already-prepared Application for a Canadian Citizenship Certificate (Proof of Citizenship; forms CIT 0001 and CIT 0014) before I mail it to IRCC. This is a citizenship-by-descent claim that runs through multiple generations, beyond the former first-generation limit, relying on the 2025 amendments to the Citizenship Act (Bill C-3) that removed the first-generation limit for people born before December 15, 2025. The chain traces from me (born in the U.S.) back through my maternal line to my great-great-grandmother, who was born in Canada (Prince Edward Island, in 1878 — before civil birth registration existed there, so her birth is evidenced by a certified baptismal record plus a provincial archives letter). I have assembled a complete digital package, including: Completed CIT 0001 and CIT 0014 A cover letter explaining the chain of descent A Section 9 "extra sheet" for the great-grandparents A certified English translation (with certification of accuracy) of a German-language Swiss birth certificate Certified birth and marriage certificates for each generation, the certified baptismal record, and the supporting archives letter Document divider sheets organizing the package What I want from you: A careful review of the whole package for completeness, accuracy, and internal consistency. Any red flags, errors, or edits that could trigger a return or a request for more information. Specific attention to: whether the CIT 0001/0014 fields are filled correctly for Scenario 3; whether the multi-generational chain and the great-grandparent extra sheet are documented correctly; whether the baptismal-record-in-lieu-of-birth-certificate approach is airtight; and whether the translation/certification meets IRCC requirements. Your honest assessment of the probability this is approved as submitted, and what would raise it.
