Children’s Book Designer / Illustrator Needed – 126-Page Illustrated Book

I’m looking for an experienced book designer/illustrator to complete the interior design of a 126-page children’s nonfiction book for ages 8–12/ or even teenagers. The book is highly visual and uses a consistent modern editorial/comic-inspired style with: Clean black line-art illustrations with limited colour accents Recurring child characters Speech/thought bubbles and short comic panels Simple icons, doodles and visual elements Structured information boxes and step-by-step sections Lots of white space and easy-to-read typography The written content for all pages will be provided. I also already have example spreads that establish the visual direction, layout, colours and illustration style. Your job is to take this established direction and consistently execute it across the full book, including illustrations and print-ready page design. Final book size: A5 (148 × 210 mm). I'm looking for someone who can maintain strong visual consistency across 126 pages and understands design for middle-grade children without making it look too childish. Please include examples of relevant children’s books, workbooks, educational books, editorial illustration, or similar long-form projects you've designed. Important: Please also tell me whether you handle both illustration + page layout/typesetting, and give an estimated timeline for the complete 126-page project. Timeline to complete this project is maximum 1 week.
