Citrix BCR and WebSocket Expert Needed

We have a working .NET desktop application running on a Citrix VDA that opens a web-based viewer in Chrome via BCR. The .NET app starts a WebSocket server on ws://localhost:7200 on the VDA, and the web viewer needs to connect back to it bidirectionally. The problem: When BCR is active, Chrome runs on the client machine. The viewer JavaScript tries to connect to localhost:port— but this resolves to the client machine, not the VDA where the .NET application is listening. Additionally, the viewer is loaded over HTTPS so the browser blocks ws:// connections with a mixed content security error. What we have tried: URL-encoded WebSocket address in BCR URL — survives DNR truncation ✓ BCR proxy configuration set to localhost:port — no effect VDA IP address instead of localhost — blocked by HTTPS mixed content PowerShell WebSocket relay on client — mixed content blocks connection Citrix Port Forwarding virtual channel — not yet implemented What we need: Someone who has already solved bidirectional WebSocket communication between a VDA-side .NET application and a BCR-rendered Chrome page. We need a working solution — not experimentation. Tech stack: Deliverable: End-to-end working solution with full documentation.
