Civil estimation for tenders

Civil Estimator / Tender Writer Required – Ongoing Work We are looking for an experienced Civil Estimator and Tender Writer to assist with the pricing and submission of civil construction tenders across Australia. Projects typically range from $500k to $20M+ and include: Civil construction Bulk earthworks Subdivisions Roadworks Drainage Retaining walls Utility infrastructure Underground power Telecommunications Piling and foundation works Landslip remediation Government and council tenders Responsibilities include: Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents Performing quantity take-offs Building detailed cost estimates and pricing schedules Obtaining and reviewing subcontractor quotations Preparing methodologies, programmes and tender submissions Identifying commercial and construction risks Assisting with contract reviews and tender clarifications The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience estimating civil construction projects Strong understanding of construction methodologies Experience with council, state government and infrastructure tenders Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications Advanced Excel skills Experience with BOQs, AS4000 contracts and tender portals This is an ongoing opportunity with regular tender work. We are looking for someone who can become part of our team and take ownership of estimating and tender submissions. I need these estimated properly and the associated paperwork done correctly.
