ABOUT WOODS CONSULTING GROUP ------------------------------ Woods Consulting Group (WCG) is a Connecticut-based consulting firm specializing in business development, operational strategy, and compliance advisory. We partner with home care agency founders to build the licensing, operational, and brand infrastructure needed to launch and scale successfully. THE ROLE ---------- WCG is hiring a Client Support Liaison to provide targeted, as-needed support for clients moving through our home care agency launch process. Every WCG client is provided with a detailed checklist, roadmap, and documented process from day one. Clients are expected to work through these resources independently — the goal of every WCG engagement is to build confident, self-sufficient business owners, not clients who require ongoing hand-holding. This role exists for the moments when a client genuinely needs additional support beyond what the checklist and roadmap provide — whether that's a roadblock with an outside agency, a question that isn't covered in their materials, or reassurance during a specific step. The Liaison is not a replacement for the client's own initiative, but a resource for when independent troubleshooting has reached its limit. This is a project-based role, scoped per client, with the opportunity to take on multiple clients simultaneously as our client base grows. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ----------------------- - Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients who have already attempted to troubleshoot independently using their checklist and roadmap - Redirect clients back to their existing resources when the answer is already available there — reinforcing self-sufficiency rather than dependency - Make outbound calls to Medicaid, DSS, DPH, or other state agencies on behalf of clients to follow up on applications, resolve hiccups, or obtain status updates (with signed client authorization) - Document all client interactions and call outcomes in the WCG CRM - Escalate any substantive issues, compliance questions, or strategic decisions directly to Ashley Woods - Recognize the difference between a client who needs a quick answer and a client who needs to be coached back toward solving it themselves WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT ------------------------ - This role does NOT provide compliance, licensing, or strategic advice to clients - This role does NOT make decisions on a client's behalf - All substantive questions are escalated to Ashley Woods directly IDEAL CANDIDATE ------------------ - Currently working in or recently experienced in the medical or healthcare field — familiarity with healthcare administration, Medicaid/DSS processes, or agency systems is strongly preferred - Highly organized, dependable, and comfortable with phone-based administrative work - Patient and professional when navigating government agency hold times and bureaucracy - Strong written and verbal communication — able to support clients without creating dependency - Comfortable redirecting clients back to their existing materials when appropriate, rather than defaulting to providing the answer directly - Aligned with WCG's philosophy: the goal is to build independent, confident entrepreneurs — not clients who rely on us indefinitely - Comfortable working independently and reporting back clearly NOTE ON ROLE STRUCTURE ------------------------- This is a project-based, ad hoc role — not a full-time or part-time position. It's well suited for someone in the medical or healthcare field looking for flexible additional work. There is potential for growth as WCG's client base expands, but hours and client load are not guaranteed or fixed.
