Job Title: Clinical Site Affiliation Facilitator (Surgical Technology Program) Position Type: Part-Time (Flexible Hours - within Mountain Time) Position Summary We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Clinical Site Affiliation Facilitator to support our Surgical Technology Program by identifying, researching, and securing clinical externship sites for our students. This role is responsible for conducting outreach, initiating communication with healthcare facilities, and facilitating Clinical Site Agreements (Affiliation Agreements) to establish externship opportunities within the US. The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident in professional outreach, and experienced in relationship-building within healthcare or academic environments. Key Responsibilities Research and identify potential clinical partners (hospitals, surgery centers, specialty clinics, outpatient facilities, etc.) Conduct outreach via phone, email, and virtual meetings to introduce the Surgical Technology Program Present program overview, student qualifications, and externship requirements to potential sites Build and maintain relationships with healthcare administrators, HR departments, and surgical services managers Coordinate and facilitate Clinical Site Agreements/Affiliation Agreements Track outreach efforts and maintain a database of prospective and confirmed sites Follow up consistently with leads to move agreements forward Collaborate with Program Director to ensure compliance with accreditation and state requirements Assist with documentation required for onboarding students at approved sites Provide regular progress reports on partnership development Qualifications Experience in healthcare administration, clinical education, workforce development, or academic partnerships preferred Strong communication and negotiation skills Comfortable conducting outbound calls and professional outreach Experience reviewing or coordinating contracts/agreements is a plus Knowledge of Surgical Technology programs or allied health education preferred Strong organizational and follow-up skills Ability to work independently and meet outreach targets
