Cloud Administration Coach

We are seeking a Cloud Administration Coach to coach aspiring IT professionals in the fundamentals of cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on bridging the gap between on-premises thinking and cloud-native operations across both Azure and AWS. You will be responsible for designing cloud lab environments and leading live coaching sessions that guide members through provisioning, IAM, and core networking. If you have production cloud experience and a passion for teaching others how to navigate the cloud console and CLI, we want to hear from you. Coaching Focus Area: Cloud infrastructure provisioning, management, and core services across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) . Key Responsibilities: 1. Structured Learning: Develop and maintain daily/weekly skills schedules to guide members through progressive cloud administration concepts. 2. Lab Architecture: Create and deploy cloud lab environments with clear Bills of Materials (BOM) and strict cost controls to ensure reproducible, budget-friendly learning scenarios. 3. Live Coaching: Deliver high-energy, interactive coaching sessions Monday through Thursday evenings. Candidates must be available during Eastern Time Zone evening hours. 4. Curriculum Enhancement: Refine and improve the curriculum based on member feedback, new cloud services, and industry shifts. Required Qualifications & Skills: -Cloud Experience: Production experience administering workloads in Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) . -Certification Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud certifications such as AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) or AWS SysOps Administrator. -Lab Design: Ability to build reproducible cloud lab environments with clear BOMs, estimated costs, and strategies for keeping resources within budget. -Hands-On Coaching: Experience guiding others through cloud console and CLI workflows (Azure CLI, AWS CLI, PowerShell, or similar). -Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal) with a strong coaching or mentoring mindset. You must be able to explain cloud concepts clearly to learners at various skill levels. -Availability: Must be available to coach during Monday-Thursday evenings in the Eastern Time Zone (EST) . Nice to Have: Experience with Cloud infrastructure, IaaS / PaaS fundamentals. Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud scenarios. Previous experience in a bootcamp, corporate training, or mentorship role.
