Our product, Patrick, is an AI receptionist built for immigration law firms — it answers every call 24/7 in 30+ languages, books consultations, and stops firms from losing after-hours and overseas callers. We're hiring a full-cycle salesperson to sell it, end to end. WHAT YOU'LL DO (the whole cycle is yours) • Cold-call immigration firms in Canada and the US, from a list we give you. • Get past the gatekeeper, name the problem, and book a 20-minute demo. • Run the demo (screen-share) and show the product live. • Close it: get them onto a free 7-day trial. This is COLD outbound. It's a numbers game — you dial a lot to book a few, and that's the job. If rejection rattles you, this isn't the role. YOU'RE A FIT IF YOU • Have real B2B cold-calling / phone-sales experience (tell us your numbers). • Speak clear, natural English a North American law-firm owner understands effortlessly on a call. • Can explain a simple product simply and honestly — no overpromising (our buyers are lawyers). • Are self-driven, coachable, and consistent day after day. THE HOURS & HOW WE WORK — READ THIS CAREFULLY • Full-time and dedicated: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Toronto time (Eastern), 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday. • This is your ONE job during those hours. We do NOT want you running other clients, gigs, or tasks while you're on the clock with us — we want your full focus and 8 real hours of calling a day. • We track your hours and activity through Upwork's own time tracker, and we check your daily call count. Both need to be there. • You're part of the team, not a lone dialer. We stay in close contact all day — quick messages, check-ins, huddles — like you're sitting in the room next door. We give feedback constantly, and we want yours: the objections you're hearing, what's landing, what isn't. THE OFFER • Fully remote, long-term. Start with a paid trial week — it's to check fit and call quality, not a guarantee of the ongoing role — then an ongoing contract. • Pay: $7/hour for the trial week, then a base of $8/hour plus performance bonuses: – $20 for every demo that's actually held. – $100 for every customer who converts and makes their first payment (a multi-office "Plus" customer is $200). • The bonuses are where a strong closer's income really adds up — the more you close, the more you make. • We give you the list, the scripts, the training, and the live demo tools. You bring the reps and the resilience. HOW TO APPLY (do this exactly — it IS the filter) 1) Start your proposal with the word BLUE, so we know you read this. 2) Record a 60–90 second voice sample on vocaroo.com and paste the voca.ro LINK (not a file attachment). In it: (a) give your cold-call OPENER to an immigration firm — imagine I just picked up — and (b) handle this brush-off in your own words: "We already have a receptionist." 3) Tell us your current working hours + timezone, and your real cold-calling numbers (dials/day, booking rate, and what you sold + to whom). Miss any of the three and we'll pass. We listen to every voice sample. NOT A FIT: warm-leads-only reps, high-volume script-readers, anyone who can't commit to a full 9–5 Toronto day as their one focused job, or anyone uncomfortable with cold outbound.
