# Cold Caller / Appointment Setter Needed for Free Local Business App Launch We are launching a local business app called **Homespot** and are looking for someone to call local businesses and invite them to join for free during our launch/testing phase. Homespot helps local businesses get more visibility, connect with customers, promote specials/rewards, and eventually access simple analytics showing customer interest and engagement. There is no cost for businesses to join during the launch. All they need to do is agree to be listed in the app and display a small Homespot sign near their register, counter, table, front desk, or customer area. Customers will be able to access the business on Homespot by either **scanning a QR code** or **tapping their phone** on the display, making it quick and easy for people to view the business, offers, rewards, and updates. ## What You’ll Be Doing You will call local businesses such as restaurants, coffee shops, salons, gyms, retail stores, service businesses, and other small businesses. Your goal is to explain Homespot clearly, see if they are interested in joining for free, and collect the right contact information or schedule a follow-up. ## Responsibilities * Call local businesses from a provided list * Briefly explain what Homespot is and why it benefits the business * Let businesses know it is free to join during the launch * Explain that customers can access their Homespot page by scanning a QR code or tapping their phone * Ask if they would like to be listed in the app * Collect owner/manager contact information when needed * Track call results in a spreadsheet or CRM * Note interested businesses, follow-ups, wrong numbers, no answers, and objections * Be friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with business owners or managers ## What Homespot Offers Businesses * Free listing in the app during launch * More visibility from local customers * Ability to promote specials, rewards, or updates * QR code access for customers * Tap-your-phone access for customers * Simple customer engagement and interest tracking * A way to connect with people already looking for local businesses * Easy in-store display that customers can interact with quickly ## Ideal Candidate * Experience with cold calling, appointment setting, lead generation, or sales outreach * Clear English speaking skills * Friendly and confident on the phone * Comfortable calling small business owners and managers * Organized and able to track results accurately * Able to handle basic objections without sounding pushy * Experience with local business outreach is a plus ## Script / Training We will provide a call script, basic app explanation, business benefits, and a list of businesses to contact. We want someone who can sound natural, not robotic. This should feel like a helpful local opportunity, not a high-pressure sales pitch. ## Goal The goal is to get local businesses interested in trying Homespot for free, collect decision-maker information, and help us build our launch group of participating businesses.
