About the Role We're a US-based software company (CactusComply — Arizona sales tax compliance software) looking for confident, English-fluent cold callers to reach small business owners and book product demos. You'll work from a provided list of prospects and a proven script. No hard closing — your one goal is to get the prospect onto a scheduled demo. What You'll Do - Make outbound cold calls using Freshcaller (our cloud phone system — training provided) to prospects from our sales portal (name, business, and email provided for most leads) - Follow our script and talking points (we provide everything) - Qualify the prospect with a few simple questions - Book a demo on our Calendly: calendly.com/cactuscomply/demo - Confirm the prospect's email on the call — use the email from the sales portal if we have it, or get it directly from them and update the record - Log call outcomes, booked demos, and notes in our sales portal/CRM - Send a quick confirmation text/email with the Calendly link when needed The Core Goal Every call has one target: a demo booked at calendly.com/cactuscomply/demo tied to a verified prospect email. A booked demo with the wrong or missing email doesn't count — always confirm the email before you hang up. What We're Looking For - Clear, neutral English accent — easy for US small business owners to understand - Prior cold calling, telemarketing, or appointment-setting experience - Reliable computer + headset and a stable high-speed internet connection - Quiet workspace with no background noise - Thick skin, positive energy, and persistence through rejection - Available to work Arizona business hours (MST, UTC-7 — Arizona does not observe daylight saving) Nice to Have - Experience selling to US small businesses - Familiarity with dialers (Freshcaller a plus), CRMs, and Calendly - Background in tax, accounting, compliance, or B2B SaaS Compensation - $5.00/hr base, paid weekly through Upwork - Performance bonus per demo that's booked AND shows up (details shared in interview) To Apply Please include: 1.
