Commercial cold plunge - hydraulic and filtration design

## Commercial Cold Plunge Filtration & Cooling System Design I’m looking for an experienced **commercial pool/spa hydraulic or water-treatment designer** to design a centralised filtration, sanitation and cooling system for a cold plunge wellness centre in Australia. ### System Overview The facility will have: * **4 × approximately 500 L cold plunge tubs** * Approximately **2,000 L total water volume** * Target water temperature of approximately **8–10°C** * High-frequency commercial/public use * All four tubs ideally connected to a **central filtration, sanitation and cooling system** The system needs to be reliable, relatively simple to operate and maintain, and cost-effective to build. ### What I Need Designed I need a complete system design covering: * Circulation and required flow rates * Required water turnover rate * Supply and return manifold arrangement for the four tubs * Hydraulic balancing between tubs * Pipe sizing *Buffer tank * Pump sizing and duty/head calculations * Commercial filtration system and sizing * Automatic sanitation/disinfection system * Automatic pH/chemical dosing where required * Water-quality monitoring/sensors * Chiller sizing and cooling-load calculations * Valves, isolation valves, check valves and bypasses * Strainers and other required components * Drainage/backwashing requirements * Temperature control * Basic controls and instrumentation * Maintenance/service access * Consideration of redundancy and what happens if an individual tub needs to be isolated ### Deliverables I would like to receive: 1. **Complete hydraulic schematic / P&ID** 2. Pipe sizes and design flow rates 3. Pump calculations and required pump duty 4. Filter sizing/calculations 5. Water-treatment/sanitation specifications 6. Cooling-load calculation 7. Required chiller capacity 9. Valve and manifold arrangement 10. Equipment/component schedule 11. Recommended equipment specifications 12.Assist with sourcing and specifying materials and equipment for procurement 13.
