About the Services The freelancer provides professional website design and development services to small businesses looking to improve their online presence, attract more customers, and strengthen their digital brand. Services include: • Business websites • Landing pages • Website redesigns • Website maintenance • Basic SEO setup • Google Analytics and tracking setup Scope The current priority is to attract small businesses located in Canada and the United States that either do not have a website or have an outdated website that no longer represents their business effectively. The ideal prospects are business owners who could benefit from improving their online presence, increasing their visibility, and providing potential customers with a modern and professional online experience. Examples of target businesses include: • Construction companies • Cleaning companies • Medical and healthcare clinics • Logistics and transportation companies • Trades and contractors • Retail businesses • Local service providers • Professional service providers The goal is to identify business owners who may be losing potential customers due to a lack of a professional website and introduce them to affordable web development solutions that can help grow their business. Responsibilities • Identify and contact potential customers. • Generate qualified leads for web development services. • Conduct outreach through email, phone calls, LinkedIn, social media, or other effective channels. • Schedule meetings with interested prospects. • Follow up with leads when necessary. • Help convert prospects into paying customers. • Maintain records of outreach activities and lead status. Compensation This is a commission-based position. Compensation will be paid for each new customer who signs a web development contract and completes payment. The expected commission range is approximately 15%–20% of the value of each project sold, depending on the project scope, client requirements, and the candidate's experience and performance. Examples: • A CAD $1,500 website project could generate a commission of approximately CAD $225–$300. • A CAD $2,000 website project could generate a commission of approximately CAD $300–$400. • A CAD $3,000 website project could generate a commission of approximately CAD $450–$600. This structure provides an excellent opportunity for motivated sales professionals to earn attractive commissions with no cap on earnings while building a long-term partnership with an independent freelance web developer. Ideal Candidate • Experience in sales, lead generation, appointment setting, or business development. • Strong communication and negotiation skills. • Self-motivated and results-oriented. • Comfortable working independently. • Experience selling digital services is an advantage. • Able to demonstrate previous sales or lead generation results. • Preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with the Canadian and U.S. markets.
