What we do AmpedBids is a US agency that gets commercial subcontractors onto general contractor bid lists and approved vendor directories. The product has three layers: Data. We capture private commercial projects 6–18 months before they go out to bid, at the source: land transfers and title records, parcel and zoning changes, early permit filings. Many private commercial projects never enter a public bidding channel at all, so this is incremental work our clients simply cannot see today. We track 65,000+ active private projects across data centers, industrial and warehouse, multifamily, commercial office, healthcare and senior living, and mixed-use. Every lead traces back to an official public record — government property registration, municipal planning filings, official permit disclosures — and the database refreshes daily. Each project comes with the full decision-maker roster (owner, developer, architect, engineering consultant, general contractor) plus a relationship graph showing which firms actually work together and what the shortest warm path into a project is. Professionalization. We build the client's LinkedIn presence, standardized case studies and document set, so that a GC who looks them up sees a firm worth adding to a list. We also track trade shows and industry events and hand clients the ones worth attending. Connection. Our industry specialists work the most relevant GCs by cold email, LinkedIn and bidding platforms. We commit to 300–500 relevant GCs contacted per month and 3–5 warm ITBs — explicit invitations to quote — delivered per month. We do not promise awards. We are accountable for those two monthly numbers, and every lead we hand over is verifiable against a public record. That honesty is what makes the program sellable. The role You own the sales conversation with US commercial subcontractors — sourcing, first call, proposal, close. Run discovery: which markets they serve, which verticals, project size range, which GCs they already hold, where their backlog is concentrated. Present the three layers and the two monthly commitments. Walk the prospect through their own ROI math rather than quoting ours. Handle the two real objections: “we already pay for a project data subscription” and “we already get invitations.” Close, hand off to delivery, stay on the account for renewal and expansion. What you get to work with A demo that is not a slide deck. We can pull real projects in the prospect's own market that are 6–18 months from bid, with the official record and the named decision-makers on each. In this category that is the strongest opener there is. A written business introduction and ROI model you can send after the first call. Delivery, data and outreach are run by our team. You sell; you are not responsible for fulfillment. Compensation — commission only, no base 20–30% of everything the client pays in their first three months. Where you land in that range depends on account size and whether you sourced the client yourself. 10% recurring from month four on, for as long as the client stays. Keeping the client is our delivery team's job, not yours — you keep getting paid while we keep them. Paid monthly, on cash received. No cap and no territory limits. Typical client pays [monthly fee] per month, so one close pays you about [first-90-day payout] across the first three months, plus roughly [annual recurring] a year for as long as they stay. Who this fits You have sold a service to owner-operated businesses — construction, trades, industrial, logistics, equipment — and you can talk about bid lists, preconstruction and estimating without faking it. Or: no construction background, but a strong B2B closing record and a track record of learning a vertical fast. US business hours, fluent spoken English, comfortable on the phone with a 30-person contractor's owner. You are comfortable being paid on results. How to apply Skip the template pitch — answer these three in your proposal: One service you have sold: to whom, average deal size, and your close rate. How you would open a call with the owner of a 40-person mechanical subcontractor doing 12M a year. What you need to earn per month for this to be worth your time.
