Community Manager- Facebook Groups in Cigar Niche
Worldwide
Strong written English required — this role is 100% conversation-based About the Role Trusted Humidors is a US-based e-commerce brand selling premium cigar humidors and accessories. We’re looking for someone to represent our brand inside relevant Facebook groups — cigar enthusiast communities, collector groups, lounge and retail groups — by participating in genuine conversation and sharing content that adds value to the group. This is not a spam or drop-and-run job. The goal is to build real presence and trust in these communities over time, which gradually draws attention to our Facebook business page and grows our audience of engaged followers who may become customers. What You’ll Do • Actively participate in Facebook groups related to cigars, humidors, and collecting (we’ll provide a starting list, and you can suggest others you find) • Post from a folder of existing content we provide (roughly 3 months of pre-made posts) • Reply to comments on your posts and engage in other members’ discussions naturally, not just self-promotionally • Read and follow each group’s rules carefully — many groups restrict or ban business promotion, so part of this role is knowing when to post brand content, when to just participate as a knowledgeable community member, and when a group isn’t a good fit at all • Provide a brief weekly summary of which groups you posted in, engagement received, and any groups worth prioritizing or dropping What We’re Looking For • Strong, natural written English — you’ll be having real conversations, not just posting • Experience with Facebook groups, either professionally or as an active personal user • Comfortable reading and following community guidelines/group rules • Some familiarity with cigars or willingness to learn basic terminology is a plus, not required — we’ll provide guidance • Reliable, self-directed — this role doesn’t require live supervision once you’re onboarded What We’ll Provide • A folder of ready-to-use social content (photos, captions, guides) refreshed regularly • A starting list of relevant Facebook groups to join • Basic brand voice guidelines • Clear answers if you have product or brand questions To Apply Please include a short note on your experience with Facebook groups or community management, and confirm your comfort level with written English conversation (not just translation).
