Community Seeding Specialist - Philippines or India (Facebook, Reddit, WhatsApp/Telegram Groups)

We're Polar (www.polarfi.com), a fintech company helping freelancers and remote workers get better exchange rates when sending money home. We've had strong organic traction in an Indonesian Facebook group where active members started naturally recommending us in posts, especially around exchange rate questions, and it's driven significant usage. We want to build the same kind of presence in Philippines and India-based communities - Facebook groups, WhatsApp groups, Telegram groups, Reddit, and similar spaces where freelancers and remote workers already gather. We're hiring separately for each market (Philippines and India) - please apply based on the country/community you're most embedded in, not both. What we're looking for: - Someone who can identify and vet the right communities in your market - Facebook groups, WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, relevant subreddits, or similar - where our target audience (freelancers, remote workers, etc.) already hangs out and talks - A researched understanding of each community's culture/rules before participating - not mass-joining or copy-paste posting - Ability to write natural, helpful posts and messages (e.g. sharing exchange rate info, answering questions, etc.) that read as genuine participation, not ads - Comfort engaging in comments/DMs/group chats as questions come in - Experience with community seeding, audience engagement, or similar organic community growth work, across Facebook, Reddit, and/or messaging apps like WhatsApp or Telegram Bonus if you: - Are already an active, established member of relevant freelancer/remote worker communities in the Philippines or India (Facebook groups, WhatsApp groups, Telegram groups, subreddits, etc.) - Are curious about or interested in fintech/payments products - we're looking for someone who'd genuinely want to use Polar themselves, not just post about it. You don't need to be a customer yet, but you'll set up an account so you can speak from real experience.
