Computational Neuroscience & Multi-Omics Data Scientist

Computational Neuroscience & Multi-Omics Data Scientist We're looking for an independent computational researcher to help develop a new interdisciplinary research program at the intersection of neuroscience, physiology, and environmental biology. The project will involve identifying, acquiring, integrating, and analyzing large public datasets, including neuroimaging (EEG, MEG, and fMRI), transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, epidemiological and clinical datasets, as well as environmental and geophysical data. Experience working with multimodal datasets and longitudinal or time-series analyses is highly desirable. The ideal candidate has experience with: R and/or Python Bioinformatics, computational neuroscience, or biostatistics EEG, MEG, or fMRI analysis Omics data (RNA-seq, proteomics, metabolomics) Public databases (e.g., UK Biobank, MIMIC-IV, OpenNeuro, GEO) Time-series, longitudinal, or multimodal data integration This is not simply a data analysis role. We're looking for someone who is curious, resourceful, and proactive. We are looking for someone who enjoys finding the right datasets, proposing analytical approaches, and helping shape new scientific questions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. If we're a good fit, this is expected to be the first of many collaborative projects.
