Concept Architect for Modern Church Auditorium — Design + 3D Renders

We are a church planning a new 2,000-seat worship auditorium, and we're looking for an architect / architectural designer with proven experience designing church auditoriums to create a modern, international-standard concept and schematic design with photorealistic 3D visuals. Please only apply if you have designed church / worship auditoriums before — this is essential, and we'll ask to see those projects. Final construction drawings and local approvals will be handled by our own licensed architect, so you can focus purely on design. About the project New church worship auditorium — the first phase of a larger campus Approx. 25,000 sq ft built-up area 2,000 seats, gallery (balcony) type, with side mezzanine floors for additional congregation seating A large column-free main hall with strong sightlines from every level to the stage Modern, warm, and inspiring design suitable for a Christian worship space Designed for a warm climate (ventilation / AC-friendly) — site details shared privately with the shortlisted candidate Spaces to include (program) Main worship hall / auditorium — gallery type, ~2,000 seats across the main floor, balcony, and side mezzanines Stage / platform sized for a church band, worship team, and preaching Green room Office room Pastor's room Kids' church at the rear, accommodated over multiple floors Entrance lobby / foyer AV / production (sound & projection) control room Restrooms (assembly-scale, including accessible) Circulation, stairs/lift cores, and storage as needed (The green room, office, pastor's room, and kids' church form a multi-storey support block at the rear of the hall.) Scope of work / deliverables Concept design — massing and 1–2 layout options with a clear design direction Schematic design — dimensioned floor plans for every level (ground, balcony/gallery, mezzanines, rear multi-floor block), all elevations, and key sections (metric units) Seating layout across all levels (target ~2,000) with sightline logic Architectural form for a large column-free main hall (long-span steel / PEB roof — architectural intent; our local team will engineer it) Exterior 3D renders — photorealistic, multiple angles, day and night Interior 3D renders — worship hall (from congregation and stage), lobby, and key spaces Editable source files (e.g. AutoCAD .dwg, SketchUp/Revit, render files) plus PDFs and high-res images (Optional / bonus) a short 3D walkthrough animation What we'll provide Site dimensions and details (privately, to the shortlisted candidate), our requirements brief, and reference images Prompt feedback and design reviews at each milestone Must-haves Demonstrated experience designing church / worship auditoriums (portfolio required) Experience with large, gallery/balcony-type auditoriums and column-free spans Strong grasp of acoustics and sightlines for large halls used for both speech and live worship music Excellent photorealistic 3D visualisation Works in metric units, communicates clearly in English Delivers editable source files Important notes This is a design commission (concept → schematic + 3D). Building approvals and construction drawings are handled by our local licensed architect — no local licence needed from you. Please design so it is practical and buildable, and hand over editable source files so our team can develop the design. Full ownership / IP of all deliverables transfers to us on completion.
