Construction Estimator — U.S. Residential (Immediate Start, Multiple Division Specialists)

We're a Washington, DC residential builder with an **immediate, high-volume need** — we're bringing on **3–4 estimators this week**, each owning a specialty division (framing, roofing, siding, MEP, drywall/finishes, concrete, etc.). Remote, long-term potential, **starting now**. We need people who can **read a plan set and produce an accurate division budget/takeoff fast** — with minimal ramp. Our team is lean and moving quickly, so you'll own your numbers from day one. **What you'll do** - Build fast, accurate takeoffs & budgets in **your strongest division(s)**. - Be right where it counts — your estimate vs. the real cost at closeout. - Turn work around quickly and flag what you're unsure of instead of guessing. **You're a fit if you** - Have priced **real residential construction** and can defend every line. - Are **deep in at least one division** (tell us which) and fast in it. - Know takeoff tools (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Procore, Excel assemblies). - Have **clear English** and can start **this week**. **Not a fit if you** guess, settle for "close enough," need hand-holding, or go quiet when something looks wrong. We move fast and measure results. **The deal:** Starts **hourly, immediately** (paid test first), converting to a monthly retainer for strong performers. Real upside as you prove out.
