About Us We are a fast-growing real estate development, construction, and property management company based in Houston, Texas. We develop new residential projects, manage ongoing construction, and oversee a portfolio of rental properties. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to replace a key team member and help keep our projects and properties running smoothly. *Position Overview* This is a remote position that serves as the central coordinator between ownership, field project managers, contractors, vendors, maintenance personnel, and property management operations. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, detail-oriented, follows up relentlessly, and enjoys managing multiple moving parts simultaneously. *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Construction Operations * Coordinate daily activities between field personnel and management. * Track worker assignments and ensure crews are scheduled appropriately. * Monitor project progress and keep project schedules and Gantt charts updated. * Follow up with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure deadlines are met. * Maintain organized project documentation and records. * Track permits, inspections, approvals, and project milestones. * Identify bottlenecks and escalate issues before they impact project timelines. Property Management Coordination * Coordinate maintenance requests and repairs across rental properties. * Schedule vendors and contractors for maintenance and turnover work. * Follow up on open work orders until completion. * Track warranty items and ensure timely resolution. * Communicate with tenants, vendors, and management regarding repair status. * Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance costs, and vendor performance. Administrative & Reporting * Maintain dashboards and reporting systems. * Prepare weekly project status reports. * Keep company systems and project management software updated. * Ensure all documentation is organized and accessible. * Monitor task completion and hold team members accountable to deadlines. Qualifications * Must be near fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal). *Experience coordinating construction projects, property management operations, or both. * Strong project management and organizational skills. * Ability to read and manage project schedules and Gantt charts. * Excellent follow-up and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively. * Experience working remotely with multiple stakeholders. * Experience using project management software (Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp, Buildertrend, Procore, or similar). Preferred Qualifications * Residential construction experience. * Real estate development experience. * Property management experience. * Experience managing remote teams and subcontractors.
