Conversion Copywriter, Lead Gen for Home Services & Agency Clients (AI-Native)

We help home-services businesses (plumbing, HVAC, roofing, electrical) and other clients turn clicks into phone calls and booked jobs. We need a conversion copywriter who can make our landing pages, websites, and ads actually convert. This is direct-response, not brand fluff. Every word has one job: get a homeowner to call or fill out the form. You’ll write new copy, sharpen what’s already live, and help shape ad creative across multiple clients. What You’ll Do - Review our landing pages and websites and make the copy clearer, sharper, and higher-converting - Write new landing pages, service pages, and website copy built to generate leads - Help with ad creative, hooks, angles, headlines, and primary text that stop the scroll and earn the click - Write conversion-focused email when needed - Flex your voice across many clients (home services and agency clients) without losing the thread: leads - Use AI to move fast, then edit it until it’s sharp, specific, and human Must-Have Skills - 3+ years writing conversion / direct-response copy, with samples that prove it - You’ve written copy that had to sell or convert, not just describe a service - Strong instincts for hooks, headlines, and CTAs (the first line is everything) - You understand lead gen, you write for people ready to call, not for awards - AI fluency, the right way: you use AI to explore angles and speed up drafts, then push it until it’s sharp and human. We are not looking for raw AI output or lightly massaged slop. - Native or near-native U.S. English - Able to overlap U.S. Central business hours Bonus Points - Home-services experience (plumbing, HVAC, roofing, electrical) or other local lead gen - Experience writing for multiple clients / brand voices at an agency - Comfortable reviewing AI-generated content and making it sound genuinely human To Apply, Read Carefully (We Filter Hard) 1.
