Cost Indices Specialist

Job Summary: We need an expert Cost Indices Specialist to identify and secure price trend data and historical inflation data for our core raw materials, transportation and logistics. You will review 5 year historical data versus current market figures using index trackers, and deliver a clear summary report and raw data. Key Responsibilities • Identify and Secure reliable cost and price indices data • Build and summarize cost indices using raw market data from leading indices • Track inflation shifts and material or labor cost fluctuations from 2020 to 2026 • Write brief summary explaining index movements for leadership Qualifications & Skills • Proven experience in data acquisition and indexing. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, complex formulas, and automated models). • Strong familiarity with statistical analysis and macroeconomic inflation metrics. • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and clear documentation.
