Cost/Management Accounting

The right type of person would be a costing clerk, management accountant, junior accountant with costing experience or cost estimator. The person must understand: Material cost, Labour cost, Outsourced manufacturing cost, Transport cost, Packaging cost, Testing / inspection cost, Overheads, Markup, Profit margin, Selling price, VAT (if applicable), Supplier price changes, Cost per item, cost per batch and cost per project. They should know: Tables, Drop-down lists, Data validation, Lookup formulas, XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP, IF formulas, SUMIFS, Structured tables, Protected cells, Separate input sheets and calculation sheets, Clean printing layouts, Basic dashboards, Pricing templates, Version control The spreadsheet must not become a messy workbook where everyone types everywhere. A good structure would be: Product Master List, Supplier Price List, Labour Rate Table, Overhead Table, Transport Table, Cost Calculation Sheet, Quote / Selling Price Sheet, Margin Summary.
