Course Review: Behavior-Based Safety

We are looking for experts who are not only skilled in their field but are also passionate about global education equity and want to help empower adult learners worldwide. 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 • 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁: Online, self-study (no teacher/tutor support). • 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Adult learners seeking practical upskilling. • 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁: You can view examples of existing courses on the Alison website to understand our style and delivery. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 As a Course Reviewer, you will ensure the material is technically accurate and optimized for an independent learner. Your tasks include: • 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸: Identify and eliminate overlapping or repetitive material. • 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 & 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Ensure all facts and methodologies are current and comprehensive. • 𝗚𝗮𝗽 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀: Identify content gaps, inconsistencies, or areas where an independent learner might get stuck. • 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆: Provide actionable suggestions to improve clarity, structure, and learner engagement—including content additions, edits, or removals. • 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Deliver overall feedback on the quality, structure, and instructional effectiveness of the course to ensure it is suitable for adult learners. 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 • 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲: Deep understanding of behavior-based safety policies. • 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱: Experience in training, teaching, or instructional design (specifically for adult learners). • 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Exceptional written English and the ability to give constructive, clear feedback. • 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝘃𝘆: Comfortable working extensively with Google Docs and the suggestion/commenting features. 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝟭. 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: Content shared via Google Doc; Reviewer leaves detailed comments/suggestions. 𝟮. 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲: Our team updates the content based on your feedback. 𝟯. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Reviewer performs a final check to ensure accuracy and clarity of the updates. 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 4 to 6 hours total, typically over 4 to 5 days. 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Issued as a fixed-price contract upon completion of the final validation step.
