Creative Architectural Designer Needed for Concept Design - Modern Backyard Home I'm looking for a talented and creative architectural designer or architect to develop several conceptual design options for a new single-family home that will be built in the backyard of my existing home. The lot is relatively small and the new home will be situated close to the existing house, so the design will likely be a tall, narrow structure. My goal is to create something that feels modern, distinctive, and architecturally interesting-not just a simple "shoebox." I already have preliminary floor plans that can be modified as needed to support the overall design concept. At this stage, I'm primarily looking for an innovative designer who can explore different massing, exterior aesthetics, window placement, rooflines, and architectural details while working within the site's constraints. Deliverables: 3–5 conceptual exterior design options Basic massing studies and elevations (3D renderings are a plus) Creative ideas for maximizing natural light, privacy, and curb appeal Collaboration to refine the existing floor plans if needed to better support the architectural vision Experience designing modern infill homes, ADUs, or homes on constrained urban lots is a strong plus. Please include examples of similar work in your portfolio. Draft floorplans attached, but there are changes that have yet to be incorporated (small rooftop deck/nook, third bedroom on third floor).
