Creative Content + Artist Support VA (TikTok / Instagram / Music)
Worldwide
\*\*Creative Content + Artist Support VA (TikTok / Instagram / Music)\*\*Indie Music Artist | Part-time | Remote | Ongoing --- **About me** I'm an independent artist working across multiple music projects (a band and a solo project), plus I do freelance music production for other artists. I'm looking for a long-term assistant who can help reduce overwhelm, keep things organised, and support the creative workflow — especially TikTok content and community management. I already have a dedicated video editor who handles the heavy footage work. This role is about everything else in the content and community chain — TikTok creation, Instagram posting, DMs, and keeping my world organised. --- **What you'll do** **TikTok Content Creation (the biggest part)** - I send you selfie videos and iPhone footage. You cut them into multiple short clips, mute the original audio, and drop the correct song section over the top. You'll make multiple versions from the same source and keep track so we don't reuse the same clip too many times. You need to be organised and on top of what works best. - Take song sections (verse, chorus, bridge etc.) and pair them with the best visual moments - Edit scenes from films / series to match our tracks, add lyrics where they fit - Organise finished clips into A/B test folders (e.g. flagship_july_2026) - Upload to our shared Google Drive in the right structure - CapCut editing is the baseline — any extra editing skills (Premiere, DaVinci, After Effects) are a big bonus but not required **Instagram Management** - Post our content directly on the Instagram app when I ping you with the asset + copy (native posting, not scheduling) - DM new followers with a specific welcome message (to a capped number of people, not everyone). You need to avoid industry people — managers, journalists, other musicians — and only message genuine fans. Fluent English is essential so you can judge who is who. - Engage with comments in our brand voice - Cold DM outreach to fans of similar bands using templates I provide (fans only, needs to feel human) **Music Platform Admin** - Upload Spotify Canvas videos - Sync and match lyrics on Musixmatch (and Genius if possible) - Basic Bandcamp upkeep - Tag TikTok videos in our backend system (MoonOS) so we know what song is used and what copy is on the screen **YouTube** - Create and upload videos from my backlog of YouTube-ready content - Keep the channel active with what we already have **Organisation & Admin** - Own the Trello board — keep it updated, move cards, flag blockers - Help with light invoicing and payment tracking (training provided) - General research when needed - Monthly clean-up so nothing builds up **Optional / Down the line** - Set up Shopify listings for merch when we have photos and details - Help with MoonOS data uploads and clip tagging - Assist with solo project and production outreach once I'm ready to take on more work - Festival and show organisation help — sending emails, chasing details, coordinating logistics (not the applications themselves, but the admin around them) --- **What this is not** - You won't be doing heavy video editing (our editor handles GoPro Max, colour grading, world/dome shots in DaVinci Resolve) — though if you have those skills they're a bonus - You won't be doing festival applications directly — that stays with me, but organisational help around them is very welcome - You won't be running music press or industry relationships from day one — that grows with trust and time - This isn't a corporate role. I want someone who talks like a human, not a brand guidelines document --- **Tools you'll use** CapCut, Google Drive, Trello, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Bandcamp, Spotify for Artists, Musixmatch, MoonOS (our internal tracker — easy to learn) --- **Who you are** - You're reliable. You show up, you communicate, you don't ghost for days without warning - You're proactive. If something's missing, you ask. If something's broken, you flag it - You write in natural, casual English. No corporate language, no AI-sounding fluff - You can work independently but also take direction without needing hand-holding - You're organised. If your Google Drive looks like a bomb site, this isn't for you - You have a good eye for what works on TikTok. You understand pacing, hooks, and when a clip is too long - You actually like music — indie, alternative, or folk especially. Not "I listen to everything" — you have opinions --- **How to apply** Keep it short and specific. I won't read essays. Tell me: 1. Your experience with TikTok/Reels editing (links to work if you have them) 2. What music you're actually into (be specific — bands, artists, genres) 3. Your availability and timezone 4. A quick note on why you're reliable and won't disappear after two weeks 5. Your hourly rate If your message looks copy-pasted, I won't reply. Tell me something real.
