What You’ll Do Manage designers, illustrators, freelancers, and creative production workflows Turn rough ideas into clear design briefs, direction, and finished assets Review designs for quality, consistency, accuracy, brand fit, and conversion value Keep creative projects moving across packaging, product inserts, flyers, ads, emails, product pages, and wholesale materials Create clear priorities, deadlines, and next steps for the creative team Spot gaps before they become problems Push projects forward without waiting for constant direction Use AI tools to accelerate concepting, mockups, design direction, and creative iteration Present decisions clearly: options, recommendation, rationale, risks, and next steps What We’re Looking For You should be: Highly organized and visually sharp Experienced managing designers or creative teams Comfortable giving direct feedback and enforcing standards Strong at translating business goals into creative execution Able to work quickly without sacrificing quality Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving priorities Proactive, decisive, and ownership-minded Skilled at written communication and async updates Familiar with AI creative tools and modern design workflows You Are Not a Fit If You: Need constant instructions Wait for perfect clarity before acting Avoid giving feedback to designers Let projects linger Send vague updates like “almost done” Require the founder to chase status, assign every next step, or make every small decision What Great Looks Like After 30–60 days, creative projects are more organized, designers know what to do, deadlines are clearer, quality is higher, and the founder is spending less time managing details. The ideal person absorbs pressure, creates clarity, and makes execution reliable.
