Creative Production Designer (Long-Term Partnership) | Branding, Marketing & Web Graphics
Worldwide
I’m looking for a reliable graphic designer who is interested in building a long-term working relationship rather than simply completing a single project. I develop businesses across multiple industries, and that often means creating or evolving brands, designing websites, developing marketing materials, and producing a steady stream of creative assets. There is consistent work available for the right person. This role is less about becoming the strategist and more about becoming a trusted creative production partner who can take clear direction, execute efficiently, and deliver polished, professional work. What You’ll Be Working On Projects vary week to week and may include: * Recreating existing logos into clean, editable vector files * Designing new logos and visual identities * Building brand guidelines and visual systems * Marketing collateral * Website graphics (primarily for Squarespace websites) * Social media graphics * Presentation decks * Print-ready files * Business cards, brochures, flyers and signage * Apparel graphics * PDF resources and guides * Image sourcing and light photo editing * Preparing production-ready exports for both print and web Some projects will have established branding to follow. Many others will involve helping build those brand systems from the ground up. What I’m Looking For Someone who: * Works primarily in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign * Is comfortable creating original branding as well as executing existing creative direction * Understands typography, layout, color systems, and production files * Can prepare assets for both web and print * Is highly organized with files and version control * Communicates clearly in fluent English * Works regular business hours somewhere in the world and is dependable * Can occasionally jump on a Zoom call when a five-minute conversation is faster than twenty messages * Is comfortable working inside Asana to manage projects and communication * Takes ownership of their work while asking thoughtful clarifying questions when needed How I Work I have worked as an art director and in business strategy for many years. You won’t be expected to guess what I’m thinking. I provide detailed creative briefs, references, examples, and direct feedback. I value designers who can absorb direction quickly, execute accurately, and improve through iteration. I care far more about speed, accuracy, communication, reliability, and consistency than flashy portfolio pieces. Many assignments involve executing an existing vision rather than inventing one from scratch. Workload This is ongoing freelance work. Expect anywhere from 1 to 10+ hours per week, depending on project flow and your availability. As trust develops, I’ll continue sending more work your way. Turnaround time matters. The designers who communicate well and consistently deliver quality work will naturally become my first call for future projects. Compensation Starting range: $15 to $60+ per hour I’m happy to pay more for someone who consistently delivers excellent work quickly and with minimal revisions. Efficiency and reliability are far more valuable to me than simply having the lowest hourly rate. What Doesn’t Work This probably isn’t a good fit if you: * Don’t follow directions carefully * Rarely ask clarifying questions * Miss agreed-upon deadlines * Deliver messy or incomplete files * Send low-quality exports * Have inconsistent communication * Struggle to stay organized across multiple brands and projects The First Project We’ll begin with a small paid test project. If we’re both excited about working together, there is a substantial pipeline of future branding, website, and marketing work waiting. I’m looking for someone who wants to become a trusted creative partner for years, not just for one assignment. To Apply Please begin your proposal with the words Creative Partner. Then include: * A link to your portfolio * Your favorite branding project you’ve worked on and why * An example of a project where you executed from a detailed creative brief rather than creating the strategy yourself * Which project management tools you’ve used (Asana, ClickUp, Trello, Monday.com, etc.) * Tell me what your ideal working relationship with a long-term client looks like I read every thoughtful application and I’m looking forward to finding someone great to grow with.
