# Direct Response Creative Strategist (DTC eCommerce) Overview We are partnering with a growing DTC eCommerce brand and are seeking an experienced Direct Response Creative Strategist to help drive customer acquisition through performance-focused creative strategy. This is not a brand marketing, social media, or content marketing role. We are specifically looking for someone with proven experience developing direct response campaigns that generate measurable business results across paid social channels. The ideal candidate understands customer psychology, buying behavior, offer positioning, messaging frameworks, hooks, objections, and creative testing. They know how to transform customer insights into high-converting advertising concepts that improve acquisition performance. You will work closely with Media Buyers, Video Editors, UGC Creators, and Marketing stakeholders to continuously develop, test, analyze, and optimize creative assets across Meta, TikTok, and other paid acquisition channels. Responsibilities Customer Research & Market Intelligence * Conduct deep customer research through reviews, testimonials, customer support conversations, competitor analysis, and social listening. * Identify customer pain points, objections, motivations, and emotional buying triggers. * Analyze competitor advertising strategies, creative trends, and winning messaging angles. * Build and maintain a library of customer insights and creative learnings. Direct Response Creative Strategy * Develop high-converting advertising concepts for Meta, TikTok, landing pages, advertorials, and sales funnels. * Create detailed creative briefs for Video Editors, UGC Creators, and Copywriters. * Develop hooks, messaging angles, offer positioning, story structures, and testing hypotheses. * Generate multiple creative concepts and iterations each week to support creative testing initiatives. * Ensure all creative concepts align with direct response marketing best practices and business objectives. Performance Analysis & Optimization * Analyze creative performance data and identify opportunities for improvement. * Collaborate with Media Buyers to understand testing priorities and performance trends. * Use data and customer insights to improve messaging, hooks, offers, and creative concepts. * Identify winning creative patterns and scalable frameworks. Creative Production Collaboration * Work closely with Video Editors and content creators to bring concepts to life. * Review creative assets and provide clear, actionable feedback. * Participate in brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and performance discussions. Required Qualifications Experience * 3+ years of experience as a Creative Strategist, Direct Response Creative Strategist, Growth Creative Strategist, or similar role. * Proven experience working with DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) eCommerce brands. * Proven experience developing direct response campaigns for Meta and TikTok. * Strong portfolio demonstrating direct response campaigns and measurable business results. * Experience collaborating with Media Buyers, Video Editors, UGC Creators, and marketing teams. * Experience operating in fast-paced, performance-driven environments. ### Direct Response Expertise Strong understanding of: * Direct Response Marketing * Consumer Psychology * Creative Testing Frameworks * Offer Positioning * Customer Awareness Levels * Conversion-Focused Messaging * Hook Development * Objection Handling * UGC Advertising Frameworks * Creative Iteration & Testing Methodologies Analytical Skills Ability to analyze and make decisions based on: * CTR (Click-Through Rate) * Hook Rate * Hold Rate * Watch Time * Retention Rate * Conversion Rate (CVR) * Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) * Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) Tools & Technology Experience with: * Meta Ads Library * TikTok Creative Center * Foreplay * Motion * AdSpy or similar research platforms * Google Sheets * Notion * Project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com Experience leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools for research, ideation, and creative development. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working with health, wellness, footwear, lifestyle, or consumer product brands. * Experience scaling DTC eCommerce brands through paid social advertising. * Familiarity with landing page optimization and funnel strategy. * Experience working in a remote environment. --- ## Location & Working Arrangement * Full-Time Contractor * Fully Remote * Candidates located in LATAM, Eastern Europe, or the Philippines are preferred.
