Creative Strategist for DTC Ecommerce Brand

We are looking for a Creative Strategist to help us create high-performing ad concepts and scripts for our DTC ecommerce brand. This role is perfect for someone who understands the ecommerce space, especially DTC brands, Meta ads, short-form content, and what makes people stop scrolling. You will not be editing videos. Your main job will be to come up with creative ad ideas, write scripts, and provide clear instructions to our editors on what kind of b-roll, hooks, angles, and visuals should be used. What we’re looking for: * At least 1 year of experience writing ad scripts for DTC/ecommerce brands * Strong understanding of Meta ads and ecommerce performance metrics such as CTR, hook rate, hold rate, cost per purchase, ROAS, etc. * Someone who understands Facebook Ads Manager and what actually matters when testing creatives * Someone who spends a lot of time studying short-form content, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and winning ad formats * Experience researching Facebook Ads Library and identifying winning ad concepts from other brands * Ability to take proven winning concepts and repurpose/rewrite them for our brand in a fresh and original way * Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box * Strong understanding of hooks, storytelling, problem-aware angles, UGC-style scripts, and direct-response advertising *You should also understand marketing awareness stages and how to write scripts for different funnel levels, including unaware, problem-aware, solution-aware, product-aware, and most-aware audiences. * Ability to use AI tools effectively to improve scripts, research ideas, and speed up the creative process * Bonus if you like or understand sports niches such as football/soccer, basketball, or athletic training products What you’ll do: * Create around 4 ad concepts/scripts per week in the beginning * Write clear video scripts for UGC-style or direct-response ads * Provide editors with instructions on what b-roll, product shots, text overlays, and visuals to use * Research competitors and winning ads in Facebook Ads Library * Identify proven ad angles and rework them for our products * Work closely with our editors to develop new creative ideas * Have a weekly call with the founder to review ideas, performance, and next concepts * Help us test new hooks, angles, and creative directions Important: This is not a video editing role. We are only looking for someone who can provide scripts, concepts, ideas, and creative direction. At first, this will be a part-time role. If we see strong potential and your ideas perform well, we would like to expand this into a full-time position and potentially work with you across our other brands as well. Please apply with: 1.
