Creative Vocal Editor / Vocal Producer for Pop and EDM Tracks We are looking for a highly experienced creative vocal editor and vocal producer to help turn strong vocal recordings into polished, emotional, release-ready vocal performances for EDM/pop tracks. This is not a basic tuning job. We are looking for someone who understands vocals deeply, has years of hands-on experience editing and producing vocals, and knows how to bring out emotion, power, energy, and movement in a track. Project Scope & Pay We currently have 10 songs scheduled over the next two months and are looking for someone who can support the full batch. Pay is $100 per song. If the working relationship is strong, there may be additional songs after this first batch. What You’ll Be Doing We will provide multiple vocal takes, usually 3 strong takes per section. Your first responsibility will be to comp together the best possible lead vocal performance, choosing the best moments based on: * Emotion * Power * Tone * Timing * Intention * Energy * Commercial feel After the vocal comp is complete, you will edit and tune the vocal using Melodyne only. We are not looking for heavy Auto-Tune or robotic tuning unless specifically requested for a creative effect. The goal is a natural, emotional, professional vocal that feels powerful and polished while still sounding human. Required Skills You must be highly skilled in: * Vocal comping * Vocal timing * Melodyne tuning * Pitch correction that sounds natural and musical * Breath control and cleanup * Phrase shaping * Lead vocal editing * Vocal doubles * Harmonies * Stacking vocals * Creative vocal effects * EDM-style vocal production Creative Vocal Production This role also requires strong creative instincts. We want someone who can take a great vocal and make it feel exciting, modern, and emotionally powerful inside an EDM/pop production. You should be comfortable creating and using effects such as: * Long delays * Reverse vocal effects * Reverb throws * Delay throws * Reverb and delay automation * Saturation * Vocal widening * Doubles * Harmony creation * Filtered vocal effects * Chopped vocal moments * Builds and transitions * Creative ear candy * Background vocal textures We want someone who knows how to make vocals feel big, emotional, expensive, and exciting. What We Are Not Looking For We are not looking for someone who just runs vocals through presets or relies completely on automated software. We are also not looking for basic Auto-Tune work. You need to understand vocal performance, phrasing, emotion, and how to make a vocal sit creatively in a modern EDM production. Ideal Candidate The ideal person has: * Several years of experience editing and producing vocals * Strong experience with EDM, pop, dance, or electronic music * Advanced Melodyne skills * A great ear for emotional vocal performance * Strong creative instincts with vocal effects * The ability to make vocals sound polished without removing the human feel * Examples of before-and-after vocal work * A professional workflow and fast turnaround Please Include With Your Application Please send: 1.
