Job Title: Curriculum Developer & Instructional Designer (Two Roles – Adult High School Program) Job Overview: We are seeking experienced professionals for two separate but related roles in the development of an adult high school diploma program: Asynchronous Learning / Instructional Designer (Digital Modules) Curriculum Developer (Structured Written Curriculum) Candidates may apply for one or both roles depending on their expertise. Role 1: Asynchronous Learning / Instructional Designer (Digital, self-paced learning system) We are seeking a specialist to design a fully asynchronous, self-paced online learning experience for adult learners. Responsibilities: Develop complete course modules (unit-by-unit, lesson-by-lesson) Create structured self-paced learning paths Write video scripts, lesson walkthroughs, and guided instruction Design interactive assignments, quizzes, and activities Build clear progression systems (students move forward based on mastery) Ensure content is understandable without live teacher support Ideal Candidate: Experience in instructional design or eLearning development Strong background in asynchronous course creation Ability to create engaging, easy-to-follow digital learning experiences Experience working with adult learners preferred Role 2: Curriculum Developer (Traditional / written curriculum framework) We are also seeking a Curriculum Developer to design the full academic curriculum structure for high school-level subjects. Responsibilities: Develop course outlines and pacing guides Write learning objectives aligned with academic standards Create lesson plans (paper-based or structured documents) Design assignments, projects, and assessments Build grading rubrics and evaluation criteria Ensure curriculum is appropriate for adult learners Ideal Candidate: Experience in curriculum writing (K–12 or adult education) Strong understanding of academic standards and scope/sequence Ability to organize content into clear, structured frameworks Key Distinction (Very Important): The Instructional Designer builds the digital learning experience (modules, videos, flow, interaction) The Curriculum Developer builds the academic foundation (objectives, lesson plans, structure, standards) Subjects Needed: Development may include one or more of the following: Math English Science Social Studies Project Details: Contract / Project-Based Remote Opportunity for ongoing work based on performance How to Apply: Please include: Which role you are applying for (Instructional Designer, Curriculum Developer, or both) Summary of relevant experience Samples of previous work (if available) Closing: We are building a structured, flexible learning system for adult learners and are seeking professionals who can contribute to both the academic integrity and the learning experience design of the program.
