1. Project Objective I am seeking an experienced data professional to develop a comprehensive, custom Google Sheets-based logistics management system. The system must support two separate business entities (Customs Clearing Agency and Road Transport/Fleet Company) and provide a consolidated dashboard for performance monitoring. 2. Scope of Work Database Architecture: Create a relational structure to track containers across both companies. Operational Modules: Clearing Agency Tab: Track shipment status, entry numbers, KRA/KEBS clearance stages, and agency fees. Fleet Operations Tab: Track vehicle dispatch, driver assignments, fuel consumption, trip expenses, and revenue. Automated Dashboard: Develop a summary tab using formulas (⁠VLOOKUP⁠, ⁠SUMIFS⁠, ⁠IFERROR⁠) to calculate real-time profitability for each company and the group as a whole. User Experience: Implement dropdown menus (data validation) and conditional formatting to visualize shipment status (e.g., color-coding pending vs. delivered). Security & Permissions: Set up "protected ranges" for sensitive formulas so staff cannot accidentally edit the logic. 3. Functional Requirements Cross-Reference Capability: The system must link transport trips to specific container numbers cleared by the agency. Scalability: The structure must allow me to easily add new lorries or clients as the business grows. Documentation: Provide a brief "User Manual" or video walkthrough explaining how to update the data and maintain the formulas.
