Summary

Slate Night Support Team Member Position Overview: Slate is seeking a reliable, fast-paced, and solution-driven Support Team Member to provide floating coverage for weekends, days off, and all three operational shifts. This is a remote/virtual operations support role responsible for managing overnight cleaning operations, supporting employees and clients, and ensuring all assigned locations are completed successfully. Shift Availability Required (New York Time): 10pm - 3am EST Must be flexible and available to cover different shifts based on operational needs. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee cleaning operations remotely during assigned shift Provide fast customer service support to clients and employees Maintain response times within 3–5 minutes Support cleaners virtually and assist with real-time problem solving Verify jobs, schedules, and cleaner attendance Review and approve timecards as needed Conduct virtual QA inspections through photos and reporting Monitor job completion and communicate updates to leadership Assist with staffing coverage and escalation support Connect live with teams by phone, text, Slack, or operational systems as needed Ensure all cleans are completed to Slate standards Required Equipment & Work Environment: Reliable laptop or desktop computer Stable high-speed internet connection Smartphone with texting and calling capabilities Quiet workspace suitable for remote work Ability to stay active and responsive during the full shift Comfortable using Slack, Google Sheets, Jobber, Front, and other communication systems Backup charging capability and reliable access to power/internet during shifts Qualifications: Strong communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Fast-paced decision maker with problem-solving abilities Comfortable managing teams remotely and virtually Ability to multitask and manage multiple locations/accounts Previous operations, dispatch, customer service, or cleaning industry experience preferred Must be dependable and responsive during scheduled shifts Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone proactive, solution-driven, and able to stay calm under pressure while supporting both employees and clients in a fast-moving environment.
