Customer outreach, lead generation, and community development

We’re looking for someone friendly, organized, and consistent to help us talk to college students and online community members so we can get honest feedback on our app. The main job is pretty simple: reach out to people, start real conversations, follow up, and help us learn what they think. You’ll be messaging people in places like ePAL, Discord groups, campus communities, college Greek organizations, Instagram, and relevant Facebook groups. ePAL is an online gaming/social community, so this role would involve connecting with people there separately from Facebook. This is not a spammy sales role. We’re looking for someone who can talk to people in a normal, casual way and make them feel comfortable. The goal is to invite people to try the app, offer them an incentive for their time, and collect useful feedback. What you’ll do Reach out to a consistent number of people each day Message college students and people in relevant online communities Follow up with people who responded before Keep conversations friendly and natural Explain the app feedback opportunity clearly Let people know about the incentive Track who you contacted, who replied, and who needs follow-up Build a friendly relationship instead of just sending one-off messages Share any useful feedback, patterns, or questions people bring up Who we’re looking for You’d be a good fit if you: Are comfortable messaging people online Can write in a casual, friendly tone Are organized enough to track conversations Don’t mind following up with people politely Understand college students, gaming communities, Discord, Instagram, or campus groups Can be consistent every day Are good at making people feel comfortable Can represent the app in a genuine, respectful way What matters most The biggest thing we care about is consistency. We need someone who can show up every day, reach out to new people, follow up with old conversations, and keep things moving. You don’t need to be overly formal or corporate. We’d rather have someone who sounds like a real person and can build trust through simple, friendly messages. Example of the tone we want “Hey! I’m helping a team get feedback from college students on a new app. We’re offering an incentive for people who try it and share their thoughts. Would you be open to checking it out?” That’s the general style: simple, respectful, and not pushy. How to apply Send a short message with: Any experience you have with online outreach, Discord, Instagram, gaming communities, campus groups, or Greek life How many people you think you could realistically reach out to per day Why you think you’d be good at starting conversations and following up Your availability
