What We're Looking For We need a skilled short-form video editor who understands the distinct content cultures of Instagram and LinkedIn — and can execute accordingly. This is an ongoing engagement, not a one-off project. You will receive raw footage, screen recordings, motion graphics briefs, copy, and brand assets. Your job is to turn those into polished, platform-native reels that stop the scroll. Platform Breakdown Instagram Reels — punchy, visual, emotion-first. Fast cuts, strong hooks in the first 2 seconds, text overlays that drive the message home without audio dependency. Target audience: small business owners and people working from home who don't think of themselves as tech people. LinkedIn Video — credibility-forward, professional but not stiff. Slightly longer format acceptable. Content includes founder perspective, product education, company milestones, and industry trends. Target audience: small business owners, office managers, and professionals managing their own home office setup. Deliverables (Typical Week) 2–3 finished reels per week (mix of Instagram and LinkedIn) Captions/text overlays included Delivered in platform-spec formats (9:16 for Instagram, 1:1 or 4:5 for LinkedIn as needed) Minor revision rounds included Requirements Portfolio with demonstrable Instagram Reels and LinkedIn video work (B2B or tech examples preferred) Proficient in Premiere Pro, CapCut Pro, or equivalent — state your primary tool Motion graphics capability (After Effects or built-in templates) a strong plus Responsive communication; turnaround within agreed timelines Experience with cybersecurity, SaaS, or B2B tech is a bonus, not required Engagement Type Ongoing, part-time. Starting with a paid trial project (2 reels — one per platform) before committing to a weekly cadence.
