About Us CureMedRx is a growing pharmacy and durable medical equipment (DME) company dedicated to helping patients receive the medical supplies and support they need. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented DME Intake Specialist to join our team and assist with patient intake, insurance verification, prescription processing, and provider communication. Responsibilities Review incoming referrals, prescriptions, faxes, and electronic orders Enter patient, insurance, and prescription information accurately into company systems Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Request and follow up on missing documentation from physician offices Communicate with patients regarding orders and required information Coordinate with providers, billing staff, and other team members to ensure timely processing Maintain accurate records and documentation Follow HIPAA guidelines and company procedures Assist with order tracking and status updates Requirements Experience in DME, medical supplies, healthcare intake, medical billing, pharmacy, or medical office administration Strong data entry and computer skills Experience with Brightree is highly preferred Ability to navigate multiple systems and websites simultaneously Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Knowledge of insurance verification processes Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards Preferred Qualifications Previous DME intake experience Experience handling medical documentation and physician follow-ups What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who: Takes ownership of their work Is dependable and responsive Learns quickly and follows processes Has a positive attitude and works well with a team Can thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
