Darktrace Engineer

Darktrace Engineer We are seeking an experienced security engineer. The primary focus of the role is to assess and reduce high false-positive volumes within Darktrace, improve alert fidelity, and help design a practical detection tuning approach that integrates cleanly into a Microsoft Sentinel-led SOC model. We will NOT accept any AI generated content and we need clear Darktrace experience with certs. Key Responsibilities - Review the current Darktrace deployment, alerting behaviour and tuning posture - Identify root causes of excessive false positives across network and cloud detections - Recommend and implement tuning improvements for suppression logic, thresholds, models and workflows - Define an ongoing false-positive reduction methodology suitable for managed SOC delivery - Support correlation design between Darktrace and Microsoft Sentinel - Advise on coexistence between Darktrace Autonomous Response and analyst-led MDR workflows - Help produce detection engineering content, service design input and bid-support material where required Required Experience - Strong hands-on experience with Darktrace - Proven track record reducing false positives in NDR / anomaly-detection platforms - Experience integrating Darktrace with SIEM platforms, ideally Microsoft Sentinel - Good understanding of SOC operations, incident triage and detection engineering - Ability to translate technical findings into practical service recommendations Engagement Type Short-term consulting engagement Immediate start preferred Deliverables-focused, with support across design, tuning and advisory
