Summary

Weekly Metrics & Reporting Own and lead a weekly data sync every Friday covering: new platform releases, live ops schedule changes, game economy improvements, new game performance, and additional insights & discoveries Build and maintain dashboards tracking core KPIs including ARPPU, payer retention, conversion rate, DAU/MAU, session depth, and day/week/month-over-month retention Monitor and flag metric stagnation or decline proactively — no more 12-month blind spots Product & Game Economy Analysis Analyze the impact of every product, feature, and backend update against pre-defined metric hypotheses Support game economy optimization: identify where segmentation, daily wager mechanics, and live ops are driving (or not driving) ARPPU and retention Collaborate closely with the product, live ops, platform, and growth teams to ensure data-backed decisions Partner with client engineering and backend leads to define instrumentation and data collection requirements A/B Testing & Funnel Optimization Design, run, and interpret A/B tests across game features, live ops events, and monetization mechanics Identify which existing features are helping or hurting key metrics and quantify the impact Optimize conversion funnels and surface actionable opportunities via live ops, A/B testing, and v-release cycles Strategic Insights Develop a monthly process to review changes in key metrics and communicate impact of all company efforts Answer strategic questions: Where should we invest platform-side? What live ops levers should we pull? Where are funnels leaking? Help the leadership team become truly data-driven in evaluating success Key Metrics You Will Own ARPPU (Average Revenue Per Paying User) — new vs. existing user segmentation Payer Retention & Conversion Rate Day/Week/Month-over-Month Retention Sessions per day, time spent per day, days per week returning Feature-level and live ops-level metric impact What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in data analytics, ideally in mobile gaming, app, or consumer tech Strong proficiency in SQL; experience with Python or R a plus Hands-on experience with A/B testing frameworks and statistical analysis Ability to work across data instrumentation, dashboards, and stakeholder-facing reporting Excellent communication skills — you can translate data into decisions for non-technical stakeholders Experience with game economy metrics, monetization analytics, or live ops is a strong advantage Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end Familiarity with tools like Looker, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Tableau, or similar
