Data Center and ICT Technical Presales

Job title: Data Center and ICT Technical Presales Job purpose: We are looking to hire an experienced Data Center and ICT Technical Presales to work on a variety of design and implementation projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring successful presales activity by evaluating bids on data center, racking and stacking services, ICT and low current projects. Candidate shall be responsible design and presales activities to ensure all data center infrastructure projects are planned according to required resources, design standards, project timelines and fulfill all technical requirements. Duties, Activities and responsibilities •Partner with sales teams to analyze client requirements, propose innovative cabling designs, and prepare detailed technical proposals and project plans •Design and architecture of complex cabling solutions, fiber optics, data centers and network infrastructure. •Conduct technical meetings/workshops with vendors/contractors to asses technical requirements •Participate in site surveys with all stake holders and understand projects requirements •Coordinate with customers to gather requirements and manage expectations •Build strong client relationships and delivering high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations •Identify costing and processing contracts variation orders •Manage and control the complex design of data center cabling and infrastructure topologies •Study and allocate resources, materials and sub-contractors per projects’ requirements •Develop design documents and shop and as -built drawings •Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure seamless transition from pre-sales to project execution •Monitor service levels for both in-house and third-party suppliers and delivery dates •Ensure projects completion per design and highest standards and quality Job Qualifications, experiences: •Bachelor degree in Computer or Telecommunication Engineering or any other related degree •Minimum 5 years of experience in presales activity with proven record in Data Centers/ ICT projects •AutoCAD fluency •RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification is highly desirable •Profound understanding of structured cabling systems, fiber optics, Ethernet technologies, and data center environments •Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage complex projects and translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders •Fluency in Arabic and English.
