We’re looking for a Salesforce specialist to help us diagnose and ultimately fix a broken data connection between Salesforce and one potential client website’s CMS (Kentico), which powers a public “Find a Provider” directory and a member-only directory. Engagement structure:  This will be a two-phase engagement: Phase 1 – Scoping (budgeted hours only): We want to start by purchasing a fixed, limited number of hours for you to investigate the current Salesforce-to-Kentico data connection, identify why certain records aren’t syncing correctly (e.g., an “opt-out” checkbox not reliably reflecting on the front end), and deliver a written assessment of root cause, recommended fix, and estimated hours/cost to implement it. Phase 2 – Implementation (contingent): If the scoping findings are approved internally, we’ll engage you to execute the fix under a separate, confirmed scope of work. There’s no guarantee of Phase 2 work; it depends on the findings and budget approval. Project context: Data lives on the Salesforce Contact object (Fonteva/Avectra-type AMS layer sits on top, but isn’t the focus). The Salesforce org itself is clean and well-maintained — this is not a Salesforce rebuild, customization, or data-model project. The issue appears to be in the integration/sync layer between Salesforce and Kentico, not within Salesforce itself. Two related but separate directory instances are affected: a public-facing directory and a login-protected member directory. What we need from you for Phase 1: Review of the existing Salesforce-to-Kentico integration/API setup Diagnosis of why field updates (e.g., opt-out status) aren’t syncing reliably A short written report: root cause, recommended fix, and time/cost estimate for Phase 2 Ideal experience: Strong background in Salesforce data integrations/APIs (middleware, REST/SOAP APIs, scheduled syncs, etc.) Experience integrating Salesforce with external CMS platforms Comfortable working independently to investigate an existing, undocumented setup Bonus: familiarity with Salesforce-based SSO/authentication patterns Budget: Please propose an hourly rate and an estimated hour range for the scoping phase only. Implementation budget will be discussed separately based on your findings.
