Desert Evaporative Cooler Design

We are seeking an experienced freelance Mechanical/Product Design Engineer to develop a complete industrial evaporative cooling (Desert Cooler) solution comparable to the available units in the market. The selected freelancer will be responsible for delivering a complete engineering design package ready for prototype manufacturing and performance validation. Scope of Work The engineer shall provide a complete design including: 1. Structural & Mechanical Design Complete cabinet/enclosure design Structural frame and support system Sheet metal design and fabrication drawings Assembly design and fastening details Corrosion protection recommendations Maintenance and service access provisions 2. Cooling System Design Evaporative cooling pad selection and sizing Water distribution system design Water tank and drainage system design Pump selection and specifications Airflow path optimization 3. Fan & Air Movement System Fan selection and sizing Motor specification Belt-drive or direct-drive recommendations Airflow performance calculations Static pressure analysis 4. Electrical & Control Design Control panel concept Wiring diagram Safety requirements Motor protection recommendations Optional smart control features 5. Performance Engineering Cooling capacity calculations Airflow performance data Power consumption calculations Water consumption estimates Operating condition analysis for hot desert climates Performance curves and technical specifications 6. Manufacturing Documentation 3D CAD models Detailed fabrication drawings Assembly drawings Bill of Materials (BOM) Component specifications Recommended suppliers Deliverables The successful freelancer shall provide: Complete 3D CAD design (SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent) Manufacturing drawings in PDF and DWG/DXF formats Full BOM with part specifications Performance calculation report Product datasheet Assembly manual Prototype manufacturing package
