C++/Qt Desktop Developer | Hardware Communication, Serial/USB, Multithreading

We are looking for an experienced C++ developer to improve and extend an existing Windows desktop application that communicates with external hardware. The application currently handles device communication and real-time data processing, and we need help reviewing the existing code, fixing reliability issues, and implementing several new features. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain C/C++ desktop application code * Work with Qt or wxWidgets UI components * Implement and troubleshoot Serial/USB device communication * Process binary/raw data packets from connected hardware * Improve multithreaded data acquisition and processing * Debug performance, stability, and communication issues * Maintain clean and well-structured CMake-based code * Test the application with connected hardware Required skills: * Strong C and C++ * Qt and/or wxWidgets * Windows/Win32 development * Multithreading * Serial and USB communication * CMake * Hardware/software integration Experience with WinUSB, embedded devices, FreeRTOS, networking, or industrial communication protocols is a plus. We already have an existing codebase and will provide the current application, hardware communication details, and requirements to the selected developer.
