AI Developer / Automation Specialist (Remote, Project-Based → Full-Time)

Amazon marketing agency that helps brands grow and scale on Amazon. We're now expanding into AI: building agents, automations, and workflows that augment our clients' teams and make their everyday business tasks faster and smarter. Both sides of the business matter equally to us. We're known for results on Amazon, and we're building a reputation for delivering practical, reliable AI tooling on top of that. We're a small, founder-led team, and we move fast. The Role We're looking for a hands-on AI developer who can take the AI services we already deliver and make them more robust, repeatable, and professional. The founders drive strategy and client relationships but aren't deeply technical — so you'd own the technical execution and bring real polish to what we ship. Arrangement: Starts as project-based / per-deliverable, with a clear path to full-time as we grow together Location: Fully remote Level: Mid-level — someone solid and independent who can run with a brief and deliver What You'll Do Build and configure AI agents and "skills" that clients use to enhance specific business tasks Design and ship automation workflows (Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar) that connect clients' tools and data Develop and refine prompts and LLM-based features using APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) Set up and hand off AI tooling on the client's side so it runs reliably without us Bring structure and professionalism to our AI deliverables — documentation, testing, and consistency Support our Amazon side where AI can speed up or improve the work What We're Looking For Proven experience with LLM APIs and prompt engineering — you know how to get reliable results out of models, not just one-off prompts Strong hands-on skills with automation platforms like Zapier, Make, or n8n Experience building or integrating AI agents and connecting them to real tools and data sources Able to work independently, take a loose brief, and turn it into something polished and dependable Clear communicator who can explain technical work to non-technical founders and clients
