C# Developer Needed – Enhance Existing ATAS Order Book Alerts Indicator
Worldwide
We are looking for an experienced C# developer with ATAS platform experience to enhance an existing indicator—not build a new one from scratch. The project involves modifying the open-source ATAS Order Book Alerts indicator by adding several workflow-focused features while preserving its existing detection logic. Project Overview The native ATAS Order Book Alerts indicator already detects significant limit orders from the DOM (Level II) and generates alerts. Your task is to extend the existing indicator with additional functionality that improves chart analysis, persistence of detected levels, and session management. This is not a trading strategy or signal-generation project. The goal is to create a better market analysis tool. Features Required 1. Persistent Levels Persistent BID and ASK levels Independent customizable colors Separate sound alerts for: New BID/ASK detection Price touching a stored level Optional automatic color change after the first touch 2. Rich Level Information Display configurable information for each detected level, including: BID / ASK Detected limit-order volume Visible duration Detection time Touch counter (x1, x2, x3...) Distance in ticks from best BID/ASK at detection Minimum visible time filter before creating a level Each information item should be individually enabled/disabled, with customizable font size and text color. 3. Session Management Configurable session start/end Display levels from previous sessions Support reconstruction of previous levels using ATAS Market Replay (Level II tick-by-tick data) Reconstructed levels should remain available after switching back to live trading Technical Requirements Strong C# experience Experience developing indicators for the ATAS platform Ability to modify existing code rather than rewriting everything Clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Existing Source Code The indicator already exists and will serve as the base implementation. The project focuses on extending its capabilities rather than recreating existing functionality. A detailed technical specification will be provided to shortlisted candidates. Deliverables Fully working modified ATAS indicator Clean and organized C# source code Bug fixes during testing Brief documentation explaining any new settings or options Nice to Have Experience with DOM / Order Book visualization Familiarity with Level II market data Previous ATAS indicator development projects When Applying Please include: Relevant C# or ATAS projects you've completed Examples of custom indicators or trading tools you've built Your estimated timeline Your fixed-price quote or hourly rate
